From the Pastor

The Bible says that God will give shepherds after his heart who will guide you with knowledge and understanding (Jeremiah 3:15). The Bible continues to say that Gods people perish because of the lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). For over 50 years we have taught people how to survive and live an effective christian life (2 Peter:1-4).

Second Peter plainly tells us that faith is the start of a relationship with God. Once we have faith we must use it to trust and Love God enough to make the additions that will create the effective Life. The Bible says that anyone who refuses to make the addition that will move us closer to God is a fool.

“For this very reason make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these things are yours, and abound, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 1:5-8; Interpreters Bible).
